During the escape from the refugee camp, Simon and Yoshiko managed to get lost in the tumult. Carrie and Johannes secures the prisoner and manage to get to Gustavius’ old workshop.
They encase the setit in concrete and begin the interrogation:
- They are not followers of set but serpents of light, and believed they were tricked by the setit and now fights for their freedom in a world covered by darkness. They sought refuge among the camarilla but were refused, and now agreed to by mercenaries for the sabbath.
- They were sent by the sabbath from Madrid, by a certain Lucita of Aragon, child of the mighty Montecada, the highest ranking sabbath vampire in Europe. To aid them they were given notes from a spy in the city known as “birdboy”.
- They were also given a ring, a token of favor from Dragomir Lazar, that they could use to gain further information.
When returning home Johannes finds a coded note from his old friend Marisol. It states that Sabrina Lupin survived the battle from Barcelona, but is now sought out by the Nosferato network.
Carrie seeks out Mirjam and asks for more of the strange potion. The latter seem befuddled, the potion was meant to give the user karmic vision, to see those who violated the eternal laws not as a connection to strange entities. She asks for time to consider her actions.
